A nice, clean pool and pleasant surroundings, plus a smart TV for streaming in the room. The facilities all worked, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good, though get there early before the ants arrive for the fresh fruit. It’s well placed for local sights, restaurants, and shops. The price was fair, and I’d recommend staying two or three nights.

We spent a week here, and it was a lovely stay. Our spacious room had a balcony where we could watch the sunrise, and the pool was lovely. Breakfast was generous and delicious. The hotel sits in a quiet alley, about a 20-minute walk from the historic center, an easy, pleasant route. It’s also convenient for walking out to watch the sunset. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. I highly recommend it.

We had no complaints, and the friendly cleaning staff did a good job keeping the rooms tidy. DREAM1985 Hotel in Luang Prabang Laos is remarkable value, even compared with the pricier hotel we moved to. We changed hotels to experience the Mekong River heritage part of Luang Prabang and be closer to restaurants, clubs, and the night market. DREAM1985 is in a quieter, less touristy part of town, around a 15-minute walk from the main street and night market, so it’s a great choice if you don’t mind walking. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with good showers and balconies overlooking the pool where you can dry clothes. The complimentary breakfast was among the best we had in Laos, Cambodia, or Vietnam. I even asked Jack the manager why it was so reasonably priced, given how comfortable and clean the rooms, pool, and breakfast were. I’d highly recommend it to anyone on a budget or looking for great value.

Mr Jack, the manager, was exceptionally helpful. The hotel itself is pretty, with lovely rooms, large comfortable beds, and a great shower. Breakfast was great too. It’s a good base, with popular attractions a short walk away.

The staff came to help within minutes when I got locked out. The hotel is new and clean, with lovely balconies and a lush setting. Free bikes and the BEST BREAKFAST, too. 10/10, don’t hesitate.
