Our original booking was $24 a night with breakfast, but the staff wanted $14 for a below-average-looking buffet when we asked for breakfast. Our bus arrived early, so we got to the hotel at 6am and had to sit in a freezing, open-air reception. Later, when my girlfriend was sick, we asked to check in early. They said a room was available but wanted $5 per hour, or $30. The staff were extremely unhelpful. Disgraceful.

We stayed a couple of nights after Laos New Years. The rooms are big, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful while we went around to the local attractions. I’d definitely recommend it. Thank you for having us.

The manager seemed to have forgotten what honesty means. When I asked for a discount because what I’d been served was more like a small appetizer than a meal, they said I had “eaten” and charged 45 000 KIP. I’d only tasted it. The plate had four tiny pieces of crunchy chicken that weren’t like crispy pork at all, just something inedible, and more onions than everything else combined. The picture tells you nothing, and they don’t seem to understand orders for food or drinks. If you want to eat, run somewhere else! To the hotel, thanks for taking note of my comment. It’s a long way out of town, and the place was nearly empty. I think I was the only guest while I was there, possibly because it was rainy season. The facilities were good, though, and the staff were really friendly and helpful.
