We stayed three nights at Inthasack Guesthouse. For 250,000 kips a night, it was very good value. The rooms and bathrooms are fairly large, with quiet air conditioning, a fan, and a shower with hot water and good pressure. There’s a hot and cold water dispenser in the shared areas. The only rooms are twins, and aside from laundry at 20,000 kips per kilo, the guesthouse doesn’t offer services. I had to clean the dirty soap dish and shelf above the sink myself; they clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Still, we recommend the place.

I only meant to stay one night, but ended up here for five after finding this lovely guest house while knocking on many doors. The owner and family were very friendly and spoke excellent English. I’d happily stay again. The bed was firm but comfortable, and there were shelves, clothes hangers, a small table, and a mirror. The AC worked well, though I didn’t really need it with the window open and shutters closed to keep the light out. Out back, there’s a small balcony with chairs and a peaceful view of a beautiful wild garden. There’s also a big common area with teak chairs and magazines.

I hadn’t booked a room when I arrived in Luang Prabang, and found this hotel on my walk back from the bus station because it had decent reviews. The owner was very friendly and spoke good English. After hearing the price, I booked. It turned out to be fantastic value. Everything in the room was basic and budget-oriented, but it worked properly and was in good condition. The linens were clean, the bathroom fixtures all worked well, and the AC was good too. I’d hoped to stay again after returning from Nong Khiaw, but it was fully booked. For budget accommodation in Luang Prabang, the value here is incredible.

After knocking on too many doors, we found the cheapest room in town: 150 000 kips for a private room with A/C. It was very clean, there was free water refill, and the owner was super sweet.

The owner was really nice, and the place felt clean and cozy. At 150.000 kip per night, it was very good value. I’d definitely recommend it.
