It’s a simple place, but comfortable enough, and the room and bathroom were clean. There’s hot water and filtered drinking water, plus they sell drinks and tours. The homestay is on a quiet street, close to Luang Prabang’s main sights, and the price is reasonable. The family is quiet and doesn’t talk much. Only two people speak English, so it can be hard to communicate when they aren’t around. If something important comes up, they’ll call someone who can speak English. I’d recommend staying here.

For $10 a night we got a huge room with a hot shower and Wi-Fi, close to the city centre and other attractions. The family were friendly. Philip was the only one who spoke decent English, and he gave us information about tours and the slow boat to Thailand. He even drove us to the pier for 50k kip.

A friendly owner and a quiet street right in the town centre, within walking distance of the Palace. The bed was comfortable, and there’s a stove, though no microwave. I had a good stay.
