Good place to stay, with excellent service and staff. I recommend it.

I didn’t stay at her hotel, unfortunately. I came across Noia while walking around, and she helped me with everything. She speaks perfect English and is the best person for booking things in Luang Prabang, from motorbikes and train tickets to tours. She’s absolutely the best. Thank you for everything, dear Noia.

I stayed for three nights. The staff were okay, the rooms were good, and it’s cheap. But the room’s entrance door doesn’t feel secure. The lock doesn’t work properly, and people can see into the room from both upstairs and downstairs.

The room was new, fresh and clean. The staff were excellent, and the owner was kind and accommodating. But the WiFi and air conditioning were very weak. The power went out a couple of times and there was no backup generator. That would have been less of an issue if it hadn’t been 107° the day before. I would have rated the hotel much higher, but I booked at the desk and paid by credit card. They didn’t charge the extra 3% Laos is notorious for, but the rate I paid was 40% above the Agoda quote, including service charge and taxes. This part of Luang Prabang is a UNESCO site, and prices reflect that. The food was good, but local restaurants were very overpriced, about $15-$20 USD for lunch or dinner. The same food, perhaps better quality, would cost around $5 in Chiang Mai. I left feeling taken.
