I paid 250,000 for the larger room, which was good. The smaller rooms had no air conditioning and didn’t seem worth it. Accommodation around town was generally pretty bad. I looked at a lot of places, and only here, Hong Fa and Amphon met my 250,000 maximum and decent-room requirements. Other travelers liked the place directly across from Lithavixay, and there were some guest houses near the airport I didn’t check. Most of the other places were moldy, smoky or expensive and bad. My only complaint about Lithavixay is that some guests were still smoking in their rooms despite all the signs asking them not to.
