The best part for me was the hospitality. Sakone and David were friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to help make the trip what we wanted. Sakone also guided us around the jars, sharing excellent knowledge in fluent English and bringing a woman's interpretation to the sites' history. The rooms were exceptionally clean, breakfast was nice, and there was a small veranda out back where I could sit and read. We had a great stay and I can't recommend it enough.

Our group of three stayed here while waiting for visas, and David and Sakhone helped us with the visa process and our journey into Vietnam. Their hospitality was genuinely kind. We also had excellent family meals, beautiful tours, and trips to relaxing steam baths, and they showed us the best Phonsavan has to offer. Breakfast was great and prices were fair. With such phenomenal hosts, this is the best guesthouse in Phonsavan. Stay here if you're in town.

There were several other guests, and people from all kinds of backgrounds made good company for one another. Our family of six was comfortable in the family room. Breakfast each morning was a lovely start, and we could also find a bit of quiet there when we needed a moment to relax.

I stayed for a week and would definitely visit again if I return to Laos. The owner is a wonderful guy, and the room was very spacious and nice to look at. Breakfasts in a European style were really satisfying, and there's a big supermarket nearby. Highly recommend this place.

David made sure we had a great time in Phonsavan. The room was clean, hiring a scooter was easy, and the organized tour to Vieng Xai was amazing. We had a perfect stay at an affordable place that was run very professionally.
