Phonepadith Hotel

Our bus to Vietnam never arrived, so we ended up having to stay here. If we hadn't been stuck, we'd have chosen somewhere else. The room was damp and the furniture looked completely uncared for. The only good part was the clean, comfortable bed. The photos say it all.

I stayed in the newer "hotel" section, not the really old "guesthouse" area at the back. The room and bathroom were clean, though there was some wear and tear. The shower had hot water but barely any pressure. Staff were very courteous, and there’s free brewed coffee downstairs.

A dirty room, an ice-cold shower, and very poor value. We paid for a VIP room that was supposed to be better than a classic one, but ended up in a classic room. When I asked for hot water, I was told that was only available in the VIP room. It felt like a scam targeting foreigners who have to pay more. Nothing was right, and I strongly advise against staying here.

Our first room had a broken toilet. We were given keys to another, but the air conditioning barely worked and the room was full of clutter. The interior was shabby, with cracked walls, and there wasn't even a shower cubicle, just a shower head on the toilet wall. The online listing advertised breakfast and Wi-Fi, but neither was available.
