Happy Riverview Hotel

The staff were very nice and took care of what I needed, though don’t expect Western-style service or management. Breakfast was decent and satisfying for what I paid, and I’d stay here again and recommend it to my friends. I spent three nights. On arrival at 6 pm, I was given a room on the village side, which had an okay view. The next day I moved to the mountain side for the remaining two nights, and the views were stunning. The basic room was clean, spacious, and had rustic wooden decor, plus a good-sized balcony. The value was excellent, and one side has a breathtaking view.

The room was acceptable for the price, and the location is pretty convenient, not too far from the city center. From the mountain-facing balcony, the view was absolutely beautiful. The pool could be cleaner. Booking through the third-party site wasn’t very helpful because it had no clear photos of the different room types.

The owners were lovely inside and out, and both spoke English. The owner was especially helpful, arranging everything we needed, from local information to train tickets. The staff were friendly too. The hotel is a little off the main street, but it’s easy to walk there. Our room was clean and had what we needed, with a welcome plate of fruit and a fridge stocked with free drinks. Breakfast was very good and all homemade. We were given beautiful scarves as a farewell gift. It was a beautiful stay.

The mountain views were stunning, and the hotel is right off the main street. Mr Giang was amazing and helped with whatever we needed, including bike rental and buses. He even offered to help with anything we might need on our travels to Vietnam. The rest of the staff were also very friendly and helpful, some of the nicest we’ve met. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.
