It was quiet because the hotel sits on a large lot with nothing nearby, though the area gets very dark at night when the streetlights are off. Shops were roughly a 10-15 minute walk away. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the staff were excellent, helpful, and accommodating. Breakfast came with the room and was decent; the next day they offered us the buffet at no charge, and that was very good. I’d definitely stay again.

I got out of there. So many things were broken, the place was dirty, and the aircon wouldn’t cool. Breakfast was served in a very dirty area, the gym was completely wrecked, and the pool was filthy. This place is absolutely not fit to take guests. I’d tell everyone to stay away from this garbage hole.

The staff were really friendly, though you need to explain things very slowly in English. The rooms are large and clean, and it’s good value for the money. I enjoyed the walk to the night markets, and the location overlooks the Mekong River. If you want to watch a great sunset across the river, try for a river-facing room. The buffet doesn’t have much choice.

We booked with rewards points and were glad for the quality we got, but I wouldn’t recommend paying full price. The rooms were reasonably clean and the shared areas spotless. It seems to be among the nicer, more Western-friendly hotels in town, though the accommodation wasn’t what I expected for the cost. Three restaurants are advertised, but there are really two, and one stayed closed during my four-day visit. The free breakfast buffet was passable. At the only lobby restaurant open for table service, you had to make an effort to find a server and ask for anything you needed. It was usually empty, so at least there wasn’t a crowd to compete with. You can see the river, but the hotel sits a bit back from the shore, which makes the view less impressive.
