Arnaoon Village

We stayed less than an hour because my boys, 12 and 13, wanted to leave. Before coming, I called to ask about the programs and whether the activities suited their ages. I was assured they would love it and that it was for all ages, but when we arrived, there were no activities. It was a real letdown, and definitely not worth 30 usd per person.

The next day I called the manager about what happened. She was very sorry, said she would look into it and get back to me, but nobody ever did. That kind of careless mismanagement isn't acceptable. For my daughter's birthday, everything else had gone well and the kids enjoyed themselves. The cake was meant to come right after lunch, but they moved it until after the Halloween costume competition, which ran late and finished around 5.15 pm. By the time we got back to our table, the staff were leaving and the lights had been switched off. I asked someone to bring out the cake, but my daughter was upset because some of her friends had to leave. Parents had been waiting outside for their children since 5pm, as the program was supposed to run from 11 till 5pm, and they were unhappy too. I ended up apologizing to them.

The food was very good, both the quality and the presentation, and the Christmas decorations gave the place a magical feel. The team was so friendly and welcoming, and the service was perfect. We had been looking forward to the Christmas show, but the weather didn't cooperate. It didn't spoil a lovely, memorable visit, though. We plan to come back soon.

The food and drinks were the weak spot for us. We tried margherita pizza, a burger, fries, pasta, and hot chocolate, but they didn't live up to everything else. The performances were a real treat, especially the touching, well-done play about Jesus's birth. The decorations looked stunning and made the place feel festive right away, with calm, dreamy music adding to the atmosphere. Better food and drinks would have made this an easy five stars.
