Old Town Guesthouses

Old Town Guesthouses was a real reassurance for me. I travel to unpredictable but beautiful countries and have learned to prepare for anything and handle things as they come. If you're anxious about booking somewhere in Lebanon, the manager, Rita, is responsive, courteous, and ready to help with whatever comes up. The location makes it easy to walk anywhere, and the Wi-Fi is reliable if you need to work while visiting Lebanon. The ground floor has built-in structures, a counter, a small TV, a comfortable L type of couch, and a good-sized fridge, with plenty of space. Upstairs, the bedroom has two windows and enough light for cloudy, cold weather. It was comfortable too. Thank you, Rita!

The exterior is nice and the location is great, but I don't recommend staying here. We were there for three nights, and the rooms were nearly empty, with fewer than basic items for sleeping, showering, and changing. Since it's a guesthouse without a reception or management office, we had to call the owner or employee we were dealing with. She didn't answer and turned up very late and hungover to hand over the keys. The shower and toilet were completely broken. After trying to reach her, we had to improvise a way to fix the shower. When she finally answered, we asked for a repair or another room, but nothing happened until our last night.

The Blue Dreams guesthouse was super clean and modern, with a perfect spot right in the Souk. Parking was convenient, and everything we needed was within walking distance. The staff were incredible and very accommodating. I rented it for two months and had an incredible stay. Couldn't recommend it more!

Ziad was a friendly, helpful host and a true example of Lebanese hospitality. The place was clean, the staff were welcoming, and everything matched its description. Right in the heart of batroun old souks, it's within walking distance of literally everything. I really recommend it if you want an authentic batroun experience. I'll definitely visit again!
