City Suite Hotel

We were allowed to check in early without paying extra, and the room was spacious. It was cleaned twice a day. They initially forgot an extra set of accessories, but apologized and brought it up within 10 minutes. The staff were friendly, though breakfast was the same each day. The shower was the main problem: water kept pooling there, and I had to wipe it up.

We left quickly the next day after a terrible stay. There were no towels in the rooms until we asked, and the Wi-Fi was very weak or unavailable. The air conditioning was either missing or took forever to cool the room, so we were sweating a lot. The carpet and furniture were dirty, with torn carpet in the rooms, and there was black mold in the bathrooms and around the fridge trim. At breakfast there was no coffee and only a few trays. I couldn't upload photos, but I'll keep trying. I also emailed the financial person in management and got no reply.

I was really disappointed and won’t come back. The website said breakfast was included, but what we got was very limited, just scrambled eggs, some cheese, and jam. Service was slow, and towels weren’t changed unless I asked more than once. Water leaked in the bathroom, and there was a lot of moisture in the shower cubicle. I really can’t recommend this hotel.

I complained twice about the higher charge at check-in and was told management would contact me, but that never happened. I’d booked five nights for $121, then had to pay $175 because they said it was high season. The website also said breakfast was included, but it wasn’t, because of Corona. Service was slow, and getting the towels changed took more than one request. Water leaked in the bathroom, and the shower cubicle had a lot of moisture. I was very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this hotel or return.
