I only needed a room for a few hours on Thursday, Nov 19, while waiting for my delayed flight. A taxi driver brought me from the airport, recommended this hotel as good but not too expensive, and said he could get me a discounted rate. At the hotel, he and the receptionist discussed something I couldn’t understand because I don’t speak the language. Then both the taxi and hotel overcharged me. I didn’t get a room key or a receipt, supposedly because the printer was broken. The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, there seemed to be food bits in the bathroom sink, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work. The receptionist said he’d email the receipt, but it never arrived. It was a bad experience, and I wouldn’t return or recommend it to a friend. Please send the receipt for my work expense report and I’ll update this review.

The Wi-Fi was awful, even with the brief power cuts, and my towels hadn’t been changed since I checked in. Room service was poor. It felt like everyone was ripping guests off, and the staff didn’t know how to run a hotel. This was a terrible experience. If I could, I’d give it zero stars. A poor excuse for a hotel. Khalas.

A fairly new hotel in a great spot for seeing the best of Beirut. The service was amazingly good.

The view was nice, and the hotel was cheap. Food here wasn’t to my taste, but it’s a great spot for getting around midtown.

Dirty, very bad, and expensive. It should be one star instead of four. A waste of money.
