Mar Mkhayel Studios

The spotless, well-equipped space made for a relaxing stay, and had the comfort and convenience of a hotel. It was modern and well maintained, better than I expected. I’d recommend it for a short visit or a longer stay.

Service was excellent and the location was perfect, but the rooms won’t suit a fussy guest. The area is noisy, and the pillows, bed, and mattress could be better. Cleanliness was disappointing too. There wasn’t enough effort put into cleaning, with hair on the mattress, pillows, and sink, and the floor wasn’t clean. I’m sorry to leave this review. The owners should pay much more attention to cleanliness and bedding quality. The managers replied that I wasn’t on the books, but I came with my wife, who booked the place. I’m sharing this to help them improve.

Our stay at this Airbnb was a nightmare, and I can’t recommend it. Rooftop maintenance caused ongoing noise in the mornings and at night, sometimes even around 3am. We raised it with the host repeatedly, but the noise continued and there was little response or resolution. Leaving was stressful too. The host changed the self-checkout passcode without telling us, so we got confused and had to make another trip back to return the door card. We’d already paid the employees a cleaning fee, but then received a request for payment anyway. It seems the host and staff weren’t communicating well.

A cozy, clean room in a central spot, with very helpful staff. It’s a really nice place, and everything was great.
