Hotel Méditerranée Beyrouth

The staff were kind and polite, but the rest of the stay was a letdown. The property felt old and not very clean, and both the rooms and furniture need renovation. The water was extremely salty, even brushing my teeth was uncomfortable. Room service was very expensive for what you got. I had a bad experience and wouldn’t recommend it.

Abeer and Maha helped me choose the best room and gave me great recommendations for things to do, places to visit, and where to eat while I’m in Beirut. The hotel staff provide five star service, and their hospitality is top-notch. I’ll be back here on my next trip to Beirut.

The lobby cafe has a chill vibe, and the location was perfect. My room was spotless and comfy, with great amenities, and the staff were super helpful and friendly. Amazing stay, I’d definitely come back.

The room phone rang at 5 a.m. on my first night, which really frightened me. I left it unanswered, then someone knocked on my door. Not knowing what was going on, I went to reception, where I was told it was a mistake. The hotel is in awful shape: old furniture, poor hygiene, a bad smell from the WC, and salty, dirty water from the taps. They try to hide the odor with cheap perfume, making the air unbearable. There were also small extra charges that seemed deliberately hidden. It’s disgracefully run and very expensive. I wouldn’t go there.
