I checked out just four hours after arriving because the place was filthy, the dirtiest hotel I’ve seen. There was actual dirt on the floor, fingerprints on the mirrors, and a horrible smell. The front desk man apologized, but wouldn’t refund me, even though I hadn’t used anything in the room.

The location is the one good thing here. My room was so dirty that I felt disgusted and uncomfortable the whole time. The showers were rusty, and instead of replacing the toiletries, they just refill them. The man with glasses at reception was somewhat rude, though the other staff were okay. There’s no water or other items delivered to your room either, so you have to buy everything from a nearby supermarket.

The staff were nice, and the suites have a pleasant view, a full kitchen, and balconies: a small one off the bedroom and a wide one off the living room overlooking the sea. But the hotel needs major maintenance. The furniture was old and very dirty, and the faucets were rusty and loose. Cleaning was lacking. If you asked, they only vacuumed the carpet, with no proper deep clean.

It seems this was once planned as a lovely hotel with nice rooms, but the careless management has left it in a bad state. The mattresses were so uncomfortable I couldn’t sleep, and the bedding was too small, so they had to use two separate sheets. The shower fixtures were rusty, the kitchen was dirty, and a strong, gross cigarette smell came through the AC. A very bad experience.
