Saint Georges Hotel & Resort

I went in with low expectations after reading some reviews, but the service was quick, the food tasted great, and the prices felt very reasonable. The place was spotless, and Zakaria looked after us by the pool with a friendly, professional manner and plenty of attention. There are several pools for adults and kids, a big play area, and good showers. I had a fantastic day there and would definitely recommend it for a relaxing outing.

The hotel is right in the center, within walking distance of zeytouna bay and downtown. The villas and pools were very clean, and the staff were both professional and friendly. Samer from reservations was especially lovely, and the pool team were great too. Highly recommended!

The noise made it impossible to have peace or sleep. I was on the 10th floor, but it felt like being right at street level, with loud music, trucks, shouting, sirens, and motorcycles. Crossing the road from the hotel to the beach club with kids felt dangerous, and they had no safety measures to help guests get across and use the facilities. On top of that, the staff were rude, customer service was the worst, and they weren’t accommodating. This is a one-star hotel at best. My kids and the rest of my family hated it. We moved to the kempinski and absolutely loved it. I’d never return, even if it were the last hotel in beirut.

The three large seawater pools were my favorite part, and I think they’re the best in Beirut. There’s plenty of room to swim or relax, the facilities were excellent, and the food was delicious. I was just as impressed by the spotless, spacious rooms and their comfortable furniture and calming design. Saint George Beirut is perfectly placed in the heart of the city. I could walk to Downtown, the iconic Hamra Street, and Raouche Rock. Most of all, the staff made me feel at home. Their smiles and warm welcome never let up, both around the hotel and pool. Thanks especially to Aleen, Rawad, Ismael, and Ibrahim, and the whole team. I enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay. Everything was better than I expected, and I’ll be back.
