Sky Suites

We found the mattress very hard, and the sheet was laid right over the waterproof layer. It didn't breathe, so we both got quite sweaty overnight. The suites are spacious and comfortable, and it's one of the few pet-friendly hotels in Beirut. There aren't any non-smoking rooms, though, so they smell a little of cigarettes.

There’s parking underground, and a small pool on the roof where you can get some sun. The hotel is modern and tucked into the heart of Bliss Street. My room felt up to date, had plenty of amenities, and was clean.

The breakfast was poor, with very few items, though I only stayed for one day. The double bedroom suite on the 11th floor had nice views and was spacious and clean, with good facilities. There’s a pool on the top floor, a gym in the basement, and the location is handy for nearby shops.

The towels were old and fraying at the edges, and need replacing. Breakfast was also a letdown: there were very few items, and the food didn't seem fresh. I complained but still couldn't find fresh food. I booked a two-bedroom master suite on the top floor. The view was very nice, and the apartment suited a small family. The location was quiet, with the university, food, and shopping areas a few minutes' walk away.
