Zita Beirut

I spent six nights at Zita Beirut and slept well every night, though the rooms face traffic and light sleepers may want ear plugs. My room, Chou?!, was comfortable and clean. The place is new and modern, with a kitchen area for making tea or coffee and eating. It’s close to shops and restaurants, as well as Sursock Museum, St Nicholas stairs and Martyrs’ Square. There’s a coffee and bar spot downstairs, and the basement has a steam room and massages you can book. The staff were caring and friendly, always checking that guests were okay. Thanks for making me feel welcome and looking after me. I recommend Zita Beirut for a visit to Lebanon’s capital.

The cappuccino was good, and service was quick. It’s a casual, cool place in gemmayze, with casual decor, where you can have a drink or coffee.

I stayed twice, both times for a short visit. The service was excellent, and everyone was very friendly. Raghed deserves a special mention for being attentive, professional, and so switched on. The coffee from the coffee shop is excellent too. I’ll be back.

A real gem in central Beirut. The rooms and the space were clean and modern, and the staff were great and always around to answer questions. Loved it.
