La Maison des Cèdres

The place was really cozy and the staff were super nice. Our weather was sunny, but I can picture how beautiful it must be in the snow, and the heating is very good. Our little apartment was tiny, but it worked for the whole family and we liked it. The food was good, though overpriced. Everything was clean, but the dust was hard to miss. Apart from the bed and toilets, nearly every surface we touched in the room was dusty, which wasn't what I expected at these prices.

The brunch out on the back patio was a highlight, especially with that view, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. La Maison des Cèdres made for a perfect getaway. Booking was easy, our room was even better than expected, and the setting is tucked between the mountains and beautiful scenery. Thank you!

We chose the hotel's only room with a fireplace, the most expensive one at USD350, because we wanted a special night together. We requested the fireplace in advance and called ahead so it would be lit and the room warm and cozy when we arrived late. The fire was going, but poor maintenance filled the room with smoke. We had to open the windows to breathe, and the room stank of smoke. They also hadn't stocked any firewood, so we couldn't use the fireplace, and no partial refund was offered. The rooms are okay, but short on detail for what is probably the nicest hotel in the area. The fittings feel cheap and flimsy, the shower hat fell off, and there are no extras like body lotion, tissues or hand cream. The common area is beautifully decorated, but the rooms feel bare, with furniture and little else, no books, magazines or candles to give them atmosphere. Breakfast was nice and the team was helpful, but the stay was extremely disappointing for such a high price. I wouldn't recommend staying here. Visit the Cedars and drive down again.

The food was so good, especially the steak and breakfast ❤️, and everyone was welcoming and smiling. The rooms are charming, spotless and carefully kept. Honestly, this felt like home and was the best hotel and service experience I've ever had. It's a perfect getaway, but book more than one night, because you'll definitely want to stay longer.
