I wouldn’t book here again. The bathrooms were disgusting and dirty, the air conditioner didn’t work properly, and the TV was slow to change channels and had no Lebanese channels. Breakfast wasn’t tasty either. Customer service was very bad. The location also felt completely wrong for a hotel, away from both the beach and the popular markets. At night, the manager gave us handheld lights to light the room, which bothered me too. I’m giving it 1/5 instead of 0/5, though honestly it easily deserves zero. If you’re planning to visit Byblos, I’d advise against booking this place. It isn’t equipped at all.

The staff were very, very helpful and did everything they could to make our visit nice and memorable. The rooms are spacious, well equipped, modern, and very clean. We also really liked the Lebanese breakfast. If you’re visiting Byblos, I highly recommend staying here :)

We slept really well in the comfortable bed, and the large room and modern bathroom were very clean. The hotel feels cozy inside, and the location is hard to beat. It’s in a cute area with little streets to explore, plenty of restaurants and stores, and small places nearby like a beauty salon. The souq and main downtown area are walkable. Breakfast was great, served in a clean, cozy dining room, and you can order pretty much what you want. Clare can arrange a taxi at a reasonable price. She’s the owner, and she and her staff really care about your experience and make sure you’re comfortable and have what you need. Highly recommend.

The Wi-Fi was really fast in each room, and breakfast was traditional. Everything was clean, with a nice atmosphere and lovely colors. The employees and manager were kind and friendly, and helped us with everything. I definitely recommend it!

The hotel itself has great facilities, but what really made our stay was the staff. They were so friendly and helpful, doing all they could to make things pleasant. Byblostar was one of my best hotel experiences.
