Whitelace Hotel Resort & Spa

The pool was lovely and spotless, and the whole resort was kept very clean, including the rooms and shared spaces. We also ate well, with plenty of choice and good quality at every meal. From arrival, the staff were welcoming, professional, and happy to help. I had an amazing stay, and the resort went beyond what I expected. I'd highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

The food was good, and our newly renovated room looked nice and was clean. But the service really let the stay down. We asked for cutlery and extra plates, called twice, and still never got them. There was a reservation mix-up: they expected four people instead of two, so the sofa bed was left open. It took five hours and two calls to reception before someone came to close it. The mattress was uncomfortable too. The room only had shower gel and body wash, with no vanity kits or facial tissues. Breakfast wasn't included, which was disappointing for a resort in this category. It's a nice place with potential, but the service needs serious improvement to match the renovations and setting.

I left with a lovely impression and would want to come back.
