The location, clean beach, and attractive resort are the best parts. The restaurant is okay, with decent food and service, though the fries tasted fishy, maybe because they fry them in the same oil as the fish. That's where the praise ends for the chalets. They were clean, but need better upkeep and a full renovation. There are no shower amenities. Room service stops at 5 pm, and they wouldn't clean our chalet or even wipe the floor. For a resort like this, that's odd. Moving tables and cleaning rooms also made a lot of noise at 11 pm while we were trying to sleep. Very unprofessional. Pool service was very poor and there was no beach service at all. The staff seemed uninterested and slow to respond. Breakfast isn't available for chalet guests, either from the hotel or by ordering at the restaurant. I paid $250, which wasn't worth it. A chalet should cost no more than $50. The location, beach, and nice establishment get one star from me. You're better off paying for pool or beach entry only. I don't recommend the chalets at all, and the hotel seems to have better service.

The resort's gorgeous building and style, its location and views, and the pool and beachfront are what lift this review to two stars. It's a very nice place, and those are its saving grace. The staff are nice and will help as much as they can, but the service falls far below what you'd expect from a place of this caliber. The room safe didn't work, and neither did the fridge. The resort has a lot of potential, but there are much better options elsewhere.

Edit: the owners wife, "Madam Saleh," came to speak with us and said there was nothing she could do. They refused a refund and called us liars. Avoid this hotel at all costs, and read the reviews. We paid 225 a night, and it wasn't worth it. The room felt like a dirty old motel from a movie. The air conditioning didn't work, so we sweated all night. Every piece of furniture was stained and dirty, the walls were dirty, and the fridge still didn't work even after they replaced it. The shower head was broken, so you had to hold it while showering. A bedroom light was out, and the hair bloe dryer had exposed wires, which felt unsafe and unacceptable. For the price, the room's cleanliness was disappointing. When we called the service desk, they said nothing could be done until the next morning. The hotel needs major updating. I don't recommend it.

The rooms were dirty, and both the AC and refrigerator were broken. The shower head was broken too. They wouldn't let us speak to a manager or supervisor. After we kept pushing for an hour, the owner's wife came to talk to us, though we knew she should have been there. She refused a refund. It's way overpriced. Read the negative reviews and don't come here.

The bathrooms were very dirty, and there were no toilet cleaning supplies. They charged 50,000 LL at the entrance for bringing your own hooka (argile), then you still had to buy charcoal inside the resort. I don't know what the 50,000 LL was for, since you have to pay separately for everything. At the entrance they told me the charcoal and 'argile' change were free, but that wasn't actually the case.
