VOTRE Hotel

The room mix-up was the main problem. I’d booked a budget double, which is above an economy room in the hotel’s room categories. At first they said we’d get an upgrade because our room wasn’t available, then said they were full and we’d get what we booked. But the room we were given was economy. When I went back, the receptionist was on the phone with a manager, and it seemed clear they knew they’d given us the worse room. They said Agoda had made a mistake, then offered a standard double instead. It looked like someone who booked economy had been given our budget double, and they expected us to take that person’s room. Check the photos and make sure you know which room you’re getting. The location was excellent, and the underground parking was excellent too. The standard room was very good and clean, and the shower pressure was excellent. But there was no hot water from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. I also saw the cleaner refilling old branded bottles in another room. The bottle in the picture had been used so much that the L in “lotion” had worn off. The shampoo was cheap and had no fragrance. They shouldn’t make it look like they’re providing international products when they aren’t. There are no facilities in the hotel. The welcome was poor too, with the receptionist sitting in the lobby with a friend and their legs up on a chair.
