Bel Azur Hotel & Resort

I stayed for 5 days, and this felt like a 2-star hotel, not a 4-star one. The location is the only good thing. The place wasn't clean, there was a cockroach in the room, and the staff, especially the manager, weren't welcoming. Nobody said hi the whole five days. Lebanese people are very good people, so I don't know why this hotel's staff were like that. Anyway, it's not good.

The pool was crisp and clean, and the place had all the amenities you'd want. It went beyond my expectations, so I'm not sure how it gets bad reviews. Well done, bravo! This foreigner will be back and will recommend it to others.

We felt at home from the moment we arrived for our 11-night family stay in July 2025. The hotel was spotless, had a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff showed outstanding hospitality. They handled every request promptly and warmly, making the stay comfortable and memorable. I went with a friend yesterday to swim in the sea and pool. We were charged 10 usd each at the entrance. The receptionist asked whether we wanted the sea or pool, and when we asked if the price differed, she said no. We chose the sea, but there was no shade there, so I went to the pool instead. I'm a covered Muslim woman, and a man told me to get out of the pool. When I asked why, he said guests were bothered by full-cover swimsuits and didn't see them as a way to swim. I was shocked and refused, but he insisted. We went back to reception to ask for our money back. The woman said this was the way she was tasked, and didn't explain the swimsuit situation to me. She said she does it so guests won't be offended, as her manager had told her, and that this was their general principle. I'm disappointed in how they treated me. In a country with a high Muslim population, how can covered or hijabi women be unable to swim in the pool? I don't recommend it at all.
