A peaceful mountain village setting about 20 km from Beirut, with a roomy shared area for relaxing and a fully equipped communal kitchen. The beds are generous in size and comfortable, and the owner was attentive and friendly. I’d recommend staying here. The bathroom and kitchen had no soap, though, and the Wi-Fi was extremely poor, likely due to the country’s wider internet infrastructure.

From here, many of the country’s most appealing spots are within an hour, so it works whether you’re after adventure or a chance to unwind. It has what you need for a memorable stay.

With affordable prices, a lively atmosphere, clean rooms, and a reassuring sense of safety, this hostel offers a lot of value for travelers. Its location is handy too: Lebanon’s main attractions are less than an hour away, and Beirut is about half an hour away. I’d especially recommend it to people who travel often or really value being able to travel.

I felt truly safe here for the first time, almost as if I were at home. The owner was kind, good-natured, and friendly, and the staff were lovely too, especially Ammar and Darin.

What stays with me is the people, the service, and the view. The place feels cozy and comfortable, and everyone makes it welcoming. It gave me more than a chance to relax, it opened me up to a different way of looking at life and added something meaningful to it. Love you guys ❤️❤️🥹
