We weren’t told ahead of time that parking beside the hotel wasn’t allowed. When we arrived, we were told we could park there only if we rented ski equipment directly from the hotel. That condition had never been mentioned and felt like pressure, not proper service. The owner’s behavior was the main problem, rude and unprofessional. Guests should be treated with basic courtesy and given clear information. Sadly, we didn’t get that, and we wouldn’t recommend the place because of the lack of honesty and respect.

The location is the best thing about this hotel, but even so, I found it far too expensive compared with others nearby. It’s very basic, with almost no services, no restaurant in the building, and seriously old furniture. There was a fridge in the room, but I had to unplug it because of the noise.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the hotel felt cozy. We really enjoyed our three-night stay back in March. It’s ideally located for skiing.

It’s right by the ski slopes, and the ski resort ticket office is about a two-minute walk away. There’s also a shop beside the hotel called "SOHO" with good gear at affordable prices and helpful staff. The hotel itself is cozy, the service is great, and the staff are friendly. There’s plenty of parking too.

George was quick to take care of everything we needed, and the service was impeccable. Our rooms were cozy and remarkably clean. We had a blast at L’escale Du Mzaar, and its prime location made the stay even better. Highly recommended.
