The location made it easy to wander to the markets, restaurants, shops, and the Berdaouni area, but what stayed with me most was how cared for I felt. Tante Mireille checked in each day about my outings, especially Baalbek, and Ghiwa was always available, even on WhatsApp, with answers, restaurant suggestions, help planning, or a quick check that I was all right when out alone. She really looks after every detail with so much kindness and energy. I spent 12 days at Auberge Brayde in Zahle. It felt like another home by the time I left. The place was cozy and spotless, and each morning 3amo Kamil and Ghiwa put out a generous breakfast with a delicious homemade cake Ghiwa baked herself. It was a pleasure getting to know her. Stay just as you are, Ghiwa. Your warmth is what makes the place special.

The owners, Ghiwa and her parents, are such a generous, friendly family, and the breakfast they make is delicious and authentic. Sitting on the balcony to eat and hear the berdawni river below was incredibly relaxing. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with lots of antiques, and the building has a lovely old style to it. Next time we're in zahle, we'll stay at Auberge Braidy again.

That restaurant menu was great and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was spectacular, enough food to feed a village, and the owner and his family were so kind that leaving felt like saying goodbye to my own family. A friend and I stayed for five days in August 2021, and it was honestly one of the best parts of our trip. I hope I can come back someday. Until then, I'll keep telling everyone I know they have to visit Lebanon.

We had a tasty traditional Lebanese breakfast on the terrace, which is open to people who aren't staying there too. The hostel is right in the town center, and the staff are helpful and always ready with a smile.

We live right across from Auberge Braidy in central Zahle, so we often go over for breakfast in the summer. It’s a peaceful way to start the morning, with views of Zahle, and the food is simply delicious. You get a typical Lebanese breakfast with Manakeesh, Labne, eggs cooked however you like, plus coffee and tea. Thanks to Ghiwa and her family for hosting us at this cozy hotel. Keep it up!
