I’ve tried the restaurant several times. The Lebanese food is good and the staff are nice, but the whole concept has gotten old. The rotating area is kind of cool, though the old staff shouldn’t stay panicked that someone might break the system.
Monte Alberto sits on a hill with a splendid view of Zahlé town, the Berdawni resorts and restaurants, and Monte Alberto’s own restaurant complex and sleeping facilities. It has become a tourism benchmark and an attraction for locals and foreigners, with good taste. For Lebanese cuisine that feels exclusive, friendly service, and an adequate price, I strongly recommend it.
I’ve stayed at local hotels in town that are better appointed and closer to the nightlife. Still, for my frequent visits I ask for the Monte Alberto. It feels like home, and they always greet me with a hug and a family-like chat.
From the balcony, you can see all Zahle village since the place is at the top of a hill. The rotating restaurant is nice and gives you a 360 degrees view.
We had breakfast and dinner there, and the food was good. The restaurant has a very beautiful view, and the hotel is in a calm, beautiful spot where you can see all the city of Zahle. The staff were very friendly.
