Bayside Villa St. Lucia

The harbour and Castries look great from here. The hosts are really friendly, and town, shops and restaurants are only a short drive away.

We’ve stayed here six times and can hardly wait to return. We usually spend at least 11 days, and leaving is always hard. The owners are wonderful and feel like family to us. The apartments are pristine, with plenty of cooking utensils, a large beach towel provided, and an outside grill. They’re also clean, well maintained and have A/C. There’s a laundry room with no extra charge to use it, though we bring our own washing powder in a zip lock bag. We’ve always felt safe on this dead end street. The harbour view is unbelievable, just as it looks in pictures. You might find yourself hurrying to the window to see whether a cruise ship or another ship is coming in. From the covered porch, you can watch small planes and helicopters across the bay at George Charles airport, or eat there or have a drink. The night view of Casteries is beautiful too. Grocery stores are good, and since there aren’t many places to eat, it’s nice to be able to cook in your home away from home. John can help arrange a rental car before you arrive, and Bay Side Villa Apartments is conveniently located for driving around the island. Saint Lucia is the most beautiful of all the islands, with very nice people and pretty beaches. Covid took a real toll on this gorgeous island and the property. We were on the next to last plane out when Covid hit. We’re so eager to get back.

I loved my one bedroom apartment. It had everything I needed, and the owners were awesome. For a homey, quiet place with an amazing view at a great price, go here! I’d recommend it for a honeymoon in St. Lucia too.

I wish I’d booked Bayside Villa apartments ages ago. The owner was so nice and helpful, and the balcony view was exquisite. The hubby and I were well pleased, waking up each morning to a bird’s eye view of the island.
