The beach right there is rocky and coral, but we found the snorkelling pretty good. There’s also a great beach within walking distance, maybe 15 to 20 minutes. The ocean view from every room is wonderful, and this location has a lot of history. This was my second visit, and I’ll return. The rooms are older but well maintained, and the staff took great care of us. There are 18 types of rooms in all, from singles to 5 bedroom apartments, and all have kitchens. It’s very quiet for sleeping and a good choice if you want to stay locally instead of going all inclusive.

The villa and furniture are dated, but the location and views make it a great place. You can watch big cruiseships pass and propeller planes commute to the nearby airport. There’s decent snorkelling and swimming right in front.

The views from the property were amazing, and at this price I’d book again for the location and service. The airport is less than 5 minutes away. Staff were welcoming, friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were spacious and functional. The place is dated and rustic at best, very basic and could use updates. If you’re open-minded about a no-frills property near the airport, with cold AC on a hot day and hot water for an early flight, it’s a winner.
