The setting is lovely, close to the Pitons, good hikes and beaches, and the guest house has lots of space and an amazing view. The staff were friendly, though there was no housekeeping during our stay because of the covid protocols. Finding the property was tricky even with a maps app, and a sign before the turn off the last main road would help. We chose it after researching places where we could relax somewhere quiet, but there was music nearby from morning until late at night. Weekends were especially loud, and we couldn't sit on the terrace without hearing it. Some things also need repair, including the shower, bin and hob. If background music all day and a cold shower don't bother you, it may be fine, but we wouldn't return.

There’s an infinity pool with a lovely view of the beach, and the area is quiet. Sugar Beach and other excursions are about a 15 minute drive, while the grocery store is around 20 minutes away. The place is owned by friendly Canadians and is a great spot to stay. The property is split into two units, so you might share the pool if someone books the other one. There are also two nearby properties, owned by the same Canadians, that are rented to other tourists.

The terrace looks out over the ocean, and the view keeps changing, sometimes quite dramatically. On clear sunny days you can spot St Vincent Island in the distance. The villa sits at the foot of Gros Piton and has an airy, light-filled feel, with an open plan over two floors, a kitchenette and a cathedral ceiling bedroom upstairs.

The owner was friendly and welcoming, and kept checking that we were happy with everything from arrival through departure. The location is beautiful and private, and the pool is a lovely place to watch the sunset. Everything was perfect for us. Would definitely recommend!
