Soco House – Adults Only - All Inclusive

We’re staying here now, and it’s been a wonderful hotel. I can’t speak to what it was like in the past, based on older reviews. The staff are lovely, the atmosphere is laid-back, and our room is clean and comfortable. The food has been really good and fresh, with the menu changing every couple of days. I like that the all-inclusive meals are ordered from a menu and cooked fresh. We haven’t had any power cuts, but things like that can happen in the Caribbean and aren’t the hotel’s fault. My only small suggestion is to provide slippers and robes. It wouldn’t put us off returning or recommending the place. The beach and local restaurants are a short walk away, and it’s handy that Uber can now get you a taxi to the bay. We’re very happy here and looking forward to the next few days 🙂

We’d love to return soon. Our room was 419, by the lovely pool, and a very friendly, happy staff member cleaned it daily. Everyone made us feel welcome. The new manager was hands-on, easy to talk to, and kept checking how things were going and whether he could help. The beach is a beautiful five-minute walk away. The food was very good, and the service ran on Saint Lucian time.

The hotel’s smaller, boutique feel suited us much more than a big all-inclusive resort. It was relaxed, personal, and never crowded. We had a great stay and would recommend it. A ground-floor room worked especially well for us, with easy access to the pool and bar. We liked the restaurant’s fresh, made-to-order meals, and the food was consistently very good. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout. Eloise, one of the hosts, stood out: she seemed to remember everyone’s name and made guests feel welcome. It’s a short walk to the beach, and the hotel provides loungers and a cooler for drinks. The area felt safe; we walked to nearby restaurants during the day and at night without any issues. There are plenty of good places to eat close by, and the people we met on the beach were friendly and accommodating. We also took a couple of excellent tours. My only small suggestion is to add some more equipment and expand the gym a bit. Otherwise, everything was spot on, and we’d absolutely come back.

We arrived at Soco House on 1st March as a couple, and it suited us perfectly. The location is fabulous, just a two-minute walk to the beach, where they have loungers and will give you a cool box of drinks. The room was spotless and cleaned every day. We always found a sun lounger, and the pool bar drinks were excellent. There were three meals a day plus afternoon tea. We’d read comments about slow service, but to us it was just “island time!” From the moment we came in, the staff were super friendly and helpful. It’s impossible to name everyone, but a big shout-out to Charles, Rose, Gavin, and Carlito at the bar, Eloise and her restaurant team, and Tony, who was always ready to help with a smile. Manager Vlad was excellent too, taking time each day to talk with every guest. Every staff member was wonderful. We’ll be back! Chris and Gail, UK.
