The meals use local produce and are thoughtfully put together, though the wait between ordering and getting the food could be shorter. Sustainability seems to be part of the ethos here, and the flowers and fruit trees make the property feel in tune with nature. Tucked just off the Piton in Soufriere, this is a modest looking boutique resort, tastefully set among what feels like a field of stones. The Caribbean views are calming and the daily sunsets magical. The staff are warm, attentive, and make you feel at home. I'd highly recommend it for a peaceful escape with lovely views and a boutique feel.

The resort phone was a game changer. With a ten-minute notice, we could arrange a ride to restaurants or attractions, which made getting around the island's difficult roads so much easier. Stonefield Resort also arranged our excursions, including transport, fees, and a safe ride back, based on what we wanted to do and when. Our two-bedroom Bougainvillea Villa was perfect for the four nights my husband, our 21-year-old daughter, and I spent exploring the south of the island. It was spacious, well furnished, and had everything we needed. The outdoor area was unbelievable, with the Pitons, Caribbean Sea, our own pool, Bougainvillea flowers, and a beautiful mango tree in view. The staff were always friendly, smiling and wishing us a good day, even the grounds crew while working. The Mango Tree restaurant has live entertainment and a different menu each day. We ate there for all but two meals and regretted missing those. Jeremy makes an ever-changing menu with local flavors and options for dietary preferences. Every seat overlooks the sea and Pitons, and the staff were so kind. We loved every meal!

For the last three days of our honeymoon, Stonefield Villa Resort was wonderfully peaceful, and having our own pool with that gorgeous view was a treat. The property is beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful, and breakfast was really yummy. The daily shuttle goes to a quiet beach with clear water. Getting to Soufrière is easy, about five minutes by car or a 20-minute walk downhill. We'd highly recommend this peaceful, perfectly located property to anyone visiting St. Lucia. We stopped for lunch at The Mango Tree and had delicious food in a wonderful location. The service was among the best I've had in ages. Jenny, I think, was so friendly and got the timing just right. Even the bill came straight away when I asked, which I loved. Definitely recommend it.
