Mellow is right opposite Kabalana beach, and the sunset spot there is the best. The cafe serves good food all day, from breakfast to dinner. I liked the big, comfortable dorm rooms, each with a private bathroom and daily cleaning. There's a lot going on, so it's easy to meet people. The large terrace has yoga mats for your own workout or a session with an instructor. Thanks, Mellow, you're the best! Lots of love, and see you soon. Book directly for the best price, and you might find yourself extending your stay!

The main road area around the hostel is busy, but my dorm room was quiet, spacious and had a large bed. I enjoyed my stay, especially the well-organized group activities and the friendly, helpful staff 😊 You can do yoga here or surf across the street.

Right across from Kabalana beach, Mellow cafe is one of the best spots in Ahangama. A lovely Turkish man runs it, and the staff are really friendly. There are lots of tasty pastries to choose from, along with great coffee and delicious herbal tea. The breakfast bowl is a favourite of mine, with healthy, tasty ingredients. ✌🏼❤

I booked for about 12 days, then stayed longer because after a few days I knew this was where I wanted to be. Sara and the others are lovely and put on lots of nice activities. The rooms are new and kept clean, with hot showers, vents and Ac's. The hostel kitchen has everything you need, and there's also an amazing restaurant right at the hostel. You can do Yoga here with a view of the ocean and palms. This place has everything I need, and I want to come back ❤️

The community dinners were a highlight for me, with lovely people and really good food. I spent nine days at Mellow and had a great stay. The staff were consistently attentive and ready to help. One little suggestion: a mosquito net on the bathroom window might be useful, though I had no trouble since I generally ran the air conditioning. Thanks for everything. I'll stay here again when I'm back in Ahangama.
