The location is great, and there’s a guard at the entrance, which made me feel calm leaving my surfboard and scooter outside. It’s a good hostel with clean rooms. The owner Alex is very kind, and the shower was the best I had anywhere in Sri Lanka, with hot water.

We had a nice stay, with spacious, clean rooms and really kind, helpful staff. The beach is only five minutes away, and there are some good local restaurants nearby down the road.

The breakfasts are incredibly good, with rolls and pizza that have no competition in the surrounding coastal areas! It’s also a quiet, peaceful spot where you might see monkeys, monitor lizards, and peacocks. The beach, with waves that are great for beginner surfers, is just a five-minute walk away. It’s a large villa with a garden, lounge area, projector, and music. The rooms are clean, spacious, and newly renovated, with everything we needed: hot water, mosquito nets on the windows, plenty of outlets, a roomy wardrobe with hangers and shelves, a table, clothes dryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, bedside rugs, a mirror with a shelf, clean linens, and towels. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I especially want to mention the owner, Alexander, who was attentive, responsive, and helped with all our questions. Surf instructors are on site, and Thai massage will be available soon.

We were really disappointed with the order. They said the pizza would arrive in 30 minutes and the rolls in an hour, in two deliveries. We changed the plan and decided to pick everything up ourselves in one delivery, but it took 1 hour and 50 minutes to arrive, and the pizza was cold.
