The view is lovely, and the setting is peaceful. Rooms, food, and service were all superb.

There are shaded canals from the property that connect to the lagoon, so you can step out of your room and get straight into a boat. Visiting the lagoon islands was a really interesting experience. From upstairs, the view takes in green trees, lots of birds, the Kalpitiya Lagoon and some of its islands, plus Wilpattu National Park. The place sits on a huge stretch of land with its own lagoon beside Kalpitiya Lagoon. Even on very hot days, the trees around Anoleth keep it from feeling too hot. Micky ( Or Timmy ,I just forget the name ) is a great manager and a good friend, and the rest of the staff are friendly and supportive. They cook great meals too. A lovely place for a vacation.
