The garden and pool area made for such a peaceful stay, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff were really friendly and the food was fantastic. Choosing this place has been the best decision of my trip so far. I'll definitely come back!

We booked the whole villa for 11 of us, including children and grandparents, and had such a relaxing stay. The setting is amazing and the villa is beautifully designed. The staff were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed exactly one year ago, and can't wait to return once travel opens up again.

Sampath, the caretaker and chef, was really friendly and helpful. He arranged scooters for us, which made it easy to get around the Ahengama and Welligama area. We enjoyed a relaxing holiday in this beautiful villa, about 1km from the ocean front. The rooms were very comfortable, and the food at the Mugatiya was scrumptious. Sampath and the team asked us each day what we'd like to eat. The one downside was the WiFi at the Mugatiya only worked in the kitchen area, which limited how much of my work I could do. I believe Sampath said they were looking to extend the WiFi. Even so, it was a great vacation.
