We barely spent time indoors, since the beautiful, quiet beach was only a three-minute walk away and we often had it entirely to ourselves. There’s plenty to do in the area too: we went to a turtle hatchery and released small turtles into the ocean, took a boat safari, visited a Buddha temple, snorkeled with corals and fish, and more. The place has a great location, spacious modern rooms that smelled fresh and were clean, two terraces, a well-kept garden for breakfast or dinner, and a fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine. Dinesh and his wife helped us with everything, and their family made the holiday feel special and authentic. Dinesh and Sashiniki are among the kindest, warmest, most helpful people we’ve met. Every meal they served was unforgettable: fresh fish, seafood, salads, lots of fruit, and real Sri Lankan specialties. I can’t put into words how grateful we are to have met them. Thanks for everything, our friends. We can’t wait to come back.

The host family, Dinesh and Shashini, made our stay especially lovely. They picked us up from the train station, cooked delicious breakfasts and dinners at very reasonable prices, and treated us with so much warmth. Dinesh even took me to the doctor and pharmacy, and arranged a massage and yoga session. The villa is in a quiet part of Kosgoda, away from the tourist bustle, with a uncrowded beach within walking distance. The ocean was warm and clean. Our bedroom and bathroom were huge and comfortable, and the shower was fantastic. There’s also a supermarket and gym you can walk to. This place really lives up to its name. I highly recommend staying with this family, though you’ll probably wish you could stay longer.

We felt so welcome thanks to our host family, who took wonderful care of us. The rooms were very clean, and there was a fresh coconut waiting when we arrived. Shashini’s cooking was 10/10, so I’d definitely eat in their beautiful garden. The beach is only a five-minute walk away. We had such a pleasant stay at Villa Paradise Ocean, and we’ll be back for sure.

The food was outstanding, and you can get a fantastic Ayurveda massage in a lovely garden setting next door. It’s about a five-minute walk to a stunning beach that was almost empty. Such a nice guesthouse, with the best hosts you could imagine. There’s also a small shared kitchen equipped with everything you need, including a washing machine.

The hosts were warm and welcoming, and Dinesh is a great guide for all parts of Sri Lanka. They specialize in seafood cooking, and you can order food there too. The rooms are very clean and spacious, with garden views, and it’s just two minutes to a wonderful beach. A very recommendable place to stay, the best accommodation in this area.
