I’ve stayed at CTC Receptions Hotel twice, and both visits were great. The staff are humble and helpful, and the service is exceptional for the price. There’s also a restaurant with an outdoor outlet, serving good quality food at very reasonable prices. Certainly a good place to stay in Anuradhapura.

The location is convenient and the price is quite reasonable. The air conditioning worked well, and the property was kept up acceptably. I liked the garden and lobby decorations, especially the antique items. The rooms are on the small side and a bit old, so they need better maintenance. The washroom wasn’t very clean, and the taps and shower looked untidy. There was no water heater, cups, or chairs in the room, which made getting hot water inconvenient. It’s decent enough, but cleanliness and basic facilities could definitely improve.

My room was no. 60, and I stayed from the 5th to the 6th. The hotel really went beyond what I expected: a great location, a luxurious room, and impeccable service. I’d happily recommend it for a five-star stay. The wedding hall dining was another highlight. The food was full of flavor, and the atmosphere made for a lovely night out. One of my best dining experiences.

The place is clean and looks really nice. Everyone working here was friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed. Such a nice place.

The next day went much better, with the main reception man taking care of everything. When we arrived on Sunday, though, the reception staff didn’t seem to know their duties very well. The hotel itself is very good, but the service needs improvement.
