Percy House

We spent two weeks at Percy Residence as three people, and had a wonderful time. It was quiet and peaceful, with fresh air and no road noise since the villa sits back from the main road. Everything was very clean and well kept, with the amenities we needed, including modern air conditioners and mosquito nets. The nearest beach is around a 10-minute walk away. Other beaches in the area are reachable by tuk-tuk in about 10 minutes, so it's easy to relax somewhere quiet and still get to the attractions. Each morning the owner served a different homemade breakfast, always delicious and nicely presented. You could feel the care in it all. The owner was warm, welcoming, and very helpful. We'd love to come back. Many thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

Each morning began with a lovely breakfast, and the villa's setting, surrounded by greenery and close to the beach, gave us room to unwind and explore. What made Percy Residence feel special was the owner's family. Their smiles and willingness to help made me feel like part of the family, not just a guest. The owner's care showed in all the small details, and I felt welcome and valued from the moment I arrived. I wholeheartedly recommend Percy Residence to anyone wanting a memorable, restorative break in Unawatuna. It's a hidden gem that went beyond what I expected and left me with memories I'll treasure.

We spent five days here with our three small children, and felt more at home than at any of the other eight places where we stayed during our three weeks travelling around Sri Lanka. The family were lovely from the start. The house was beautiful and clean, with a garden and outdoor seating. Breakfast was different every day, including a new fruit each morning, and the dinner we asked for on our last night was excellent. We were comfortable the whole time and enjoyed watching monkeys, squirrels, peacocks and other birds in the garden. We also loved the location. The beach isn't far, and you can snorkel with turtles there. The water stays very calm all morning, which was ideal for the children. Thank you for giving us such a lovely end to our time in your beautiful country.

One of the best things about our trip was choosing Percy Residence in Unawatuna. Its location, comfort, and hospitality made it a standout, and I'd highly recommend staying there. The villa was in excellent shape and close to the beach, with a peaceful atmosphere. We were greeted each day with a varied, wonderful breakfast. The owner was kind and honest, and the whole family paid attention to what guests needed. We felt genuinely cared for, with no sense of being misled.
