We really enjoyed staying at this small, family run guesthouse and would happily come back when we’re in the area. It sits right beside a beautiful lake, and in the afternoon you can watch lots of birds in the trees next to your room. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Sri Lanka. The owner can point you to the best Tuktuk driver in anuradhapura, who also knows a lot about the ancient places.
I stayed here in Aug.2017, in the upstairs double room. The room had cute decorations, and I especially liked how natural the bathroom looked. The boss was very friendly and spoke English well, which surprised me. If you’re staying in Anuradhapura, I definitely recommend De Best Holiday.
The room was comfortable, the bed was good, and the bathroom was clean with hot water. We had a lovely stay at De best holiday. It’s a new guest house, and the host was very nice. We’d recommend it!
The owners were so welcoming and even offered us coffee in the morning. Sleeping in the wooden huts was a lot of fun, and they felt really cozy and beautiful.
A really friendly host and great value for the money. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth staying a night.
