Ms. Kumudu gave us superior service. She was friendly and attentive, and made our stay more enjoyable. The customer service was outstanding, the food superb and well prepared, and the pool was clean and excellent for relaxing. We had a wonderful stay at Gamodh Citadel Resort and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Anuradhapura. We'll definitely visit again!

The best part for us was how comfortable everything felt, especially the beds and super clean linen. Rooms are spacious and have all the amenities you need, with plenty of toiletries. We never had to call staff to ask for more. Bathrooms were clean and dry too. Families with kids should find the place welcoming. The pool was clean, with a 3ft shallow end and what I think is about a 5ft deep end. Its surroundings were clean and free of hazards. The staff were exceptional, friendly, hard working people who seem to love what they do. From reservation to departure, we had a positive experience. The food was amazing, with authentic Sri Lankan dishes free from msg that we felt comfortable letting our kids eat. Our stay at Gamodh Citadel was comfortable and memorable in lots of ways. We hope the place grows and achieves great things. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Anuradhapura.

The setting is quiet and green, a nice place to come back to after visiting Anuradhapura's historic and religious sites. Sri Maha Bodhi vehicle park is about 7 km away. I found the rooms clean, comfortable, and nicely arranged, and the pool was spacious, clean, and well kept. There’s a good mix of local and international food, and it was all delicious. Staff were polite, very friendly, and ready to help. A relaxing stay that I’d happily recommend to families, couples, or solo travelers.

We only stayed one night, but had dinner at the restaurant too. The Sri Lankan food had really good, authentic flavors, and Sahil was especially helpful, answering all our questions and making sure dinner went smoothly. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had what we needed. You can sometimes hear noise from neighboring rooms since they aren’t soundproof. For Christmas Days, the price felt worth it. We had a comfortable, enjoyable stay at Gamodh Citadel and hope the team keeps up the great service.

Sahil was so friendly and kind, our whole group loved him. After dinner, we had a great night with music and a pool to keep everyone entertained. A shower curtain in the toilet would be nice, but everything else was fine.
