The river beside Dambulu Oya Family Park makes the surroundings feel especially soothing, and you can even bathe in the oya. The place is spacious, quiet, and wrapped in greenery, a lovely setting for a relaxing holiday. The staff were very hospitable, and the manager was especially polite. We had an amazing stay and would definitely visit again. Highly recommended for families and nature lovers.

We came for a quiet break in Dambulla and found Dambulu Oya Family Park wonderfully serene, a nice place to unwind with loved ones. The breakfast was delicious, and the quality of service helped make the visit memorable. Highly recommend it for a relaxing time in nature.

The food was amazing, with an unbelievable taste, and the service was just as good. Dambulla has plenty of places, but this one really stuck with me. It's in a lovely setting among the trees, with the oya beside the hotel and a pool tucked into a beautiful spot. If you love nature, come stay here.

We were left waiting too long for things because there seemed to be very few staff, and the property felt unclean and poorly maintained. Customer service was unpleasant and unprofessional. The elderly man presenting himself as the manager seemed to have no idea how to run a hotel or handle hospitality. Our triple room was misleading too. It had a concrete double bed with a thin mattress, plus an awkward extra sleeping area that wasn't comfortable. When we phoned to book, the manager gave us the rates and room details, but once we arrived he raised the price without warning. He also demanded checkout at 11:00 AM with no flexibility, even though we'd booked full board, including lunch. This stay at Dambulu Oya Family Park – Paradise Waters was extremely disappointing. The place lacks honesty, cleanliness, and proper hospitality, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Dambulla.

The peaceful surroundings and warm hospitality made for a memorable stay. The staff were kind and humble, and Geoffrey's attentive management helped us feel welcomed and well looked after. The rooms have essentials like towels, soap, a kettle, and drinking water. Chef Ms. Nandawathi cooked delicious meals, and the portions were generous. The hotel has a 30-year history and plenty of charm, though some parts could use refurbishment. Hot and cold shower controls need better temperature balance, and the air conditioning units should be checked to make sure they work well. Set amid lush greenery, Hotel Dambulla Family Park makes a serene break from daily life. Whether you're on holiday or stopping in Dambulla briefly, Hotel Dambulla Oya Family Park is worth a visit.
