Nimal was welcoming and kind, and shared lots of suggestions for free things to do in Anuradhapura. We also had several really interesting chats about his life and what he does in his spare time. The room was spacious and the air conditioning was great. It's a little way from the centre, but getting a tuk tuk or Uber was easy enough without our own transport.
We loved relaxing in Nimal’s cozy, peaceful home, and he made us feel welcome right away. The service was excellent, and he helped us with everything, including planning parts of our trip. He enjoys bringing out his giant Sri Lanka map and explaining things. I’d absolutely recommend staying here in Anuradhapura!
The host is a kind person, and we hope you stay healthy, Nimal. We stopped for one night during a long motorcycle trip. Our room and bathroom were clean and had AC, and blankets, towels, and shower gel were provided. There was a well-equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, electric pot, blender, and more, which came in handy for making tea and warming up food. The shared areas were messy, though. The kitchen and common spaces weren't clean, and lots of flies were buzzing around after someone left food out. It's not easy to keep a big place like this in shape.
Nimal was considerate and made sure our needs were met. The home was clean, and all the listed amenities were there, so our stay was comfortable and affordable. For a quiet, budget-friendly stay in Anuradhapura with a kind host, I highly recommend Nimal’s home.
Nimal is a good person, and I wish you good health. We stayed at his house for two nights. The rooms and toilet were clean and had AC, and blankets, towels, and shower gel were provided. We used the kitchen to make tea and heat food, which made it convenient to take some food away for breakfast.
