We needed somewhere to stay during the recent flooding emergency, but OYO 372 Sanri Villa was a very disappointing experience. We were charged 10,000 LKR per room, then later found online that the usual price is around 4,000 LKR, which made an already difficult situation feel worse. The room seemed passable at first, but inside it smelled strongly of mildew and the sheets were stained. There wasn't a blanket. After asking, we waited about 30 minutes and called again, and what arrived was a thin, holey bedsheet, not a blanket or duvet. We also had to ask separately for towels and even tissue paper. The place felt dirty, poorly kept, and uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend staying here. Don't waste your time or money.

We expected a small boutique hotel with decent facilities, but this wasn't what we had in mind. The room and toilet were clean, and the staff were okay. The pool seemed okay too. But the sheets and pillowcases were marked and torn at the corners, and the towels weren't clean either. There was just one water bottle and one towel in the room, and extra bottles cost more. The food at the hotel was overpriced. String hoppers, dhal curry and pol sambal cost LKR800, while the same meal was LKR 100-150 just a few minutes' walk away. They also add an extra 3.5% for credit or debit card payments.

The swimming pool was a highlight, and I even used it at night. Dinner was delicious and very reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Mohan gave us more help and support than we expected. The hotel is close to the airport, about 10 minutes away, and the rooms in the new building were clean and well maintained.
