Blue Waters Arugambay

The cabanas are cute and basic, but clean and comfortable, with air conditioning. We were very happy with everything and would come back. Blue Waters is right on a lovely sandy beach that feels almost like it’s yours, and it’s quiet compared with busy Arugam Bay. It’s easy to get around by tuk-tuk. Rinoz and the team were warm and welcoming, helped with transport and tours, and served simple, delicious food with great service.

The food was amazing, and the location felt like a dream. We loved how quiet and peaceful it was away from the crowds. The staff were great, especially rino, who tried to fulfill every wish.

The cabanas are right by the beach, with beautiful views, especially at sunrise. It’s a good place for peace, nature, and an ocean breeze. The wooden buildings and locally made furniture fit the natural setting. They keep the place clean and simple, avoid plastic, and support local food. A relaxing stay that doesn’t harm the environment.

The wooden houses for sleeping are charming, and you can sit right by the water. The beach is peaceful and almost always empty, and the whole place feels laid back and close to nature. Food is cheap, tasty, and prepared quickly and fresh. We spotted birds like sea eagles and bee eaters here. The hotel can arrange a scooter for 3000 a day, which is handy since it’s quite a distance from Pottuvil main road.
