It's a nice hotel for a very reasonable price, just a minute's walk from the beach and Arugam Bay's main street. The staff were helpful and really nice. Rooms are good, with a mosquito net, air conditioning, and a nice balcony. They also serve food and coffee, both of which were nice.

Mr Taco, the restaurant chef, even made us special meals when we were ill. His tacos are delicious, vegan, and really healthy. We had a lovely family stay: the rooms were clean, the AC worked well, and everyone was so friendly that we felt at home straight away. They also surprised my sister with decorations and a birthday cake. I'd love to stay again.

We had a fantastic time over four nights. New Sea Rock Beach Hotel is close to the beach but off the main drag, so it's quiet and peaceful. The clean, comfortable rooms and everything else the property offered made for a great stay. The new owners are doing an amazing job hosting and accommodating guests. Lucky, the experienced chef, made varied, tasty food and presented it with passion and flair. It's an authentic Sri Lankan family hosted place with traditional, caring hospitality and good quality. I totally recommend staying here. Great work Chaminda.

The owners were lovely and happy to help with anything during our five nights at Sea Rock Beach Hotel. It's a perfect base for visiting Arugam Bay. The rooms are clean and spacious, with a great outdoor terrace, and the beach is at the end of the street, so you can wake up and jump right into the ocean. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel close to the beach. A heads up for groups of Italian guests: they tend to be very loud and selfish. I've already had several bad experiences with this in just three weeks in Sri Lanka. Very unfortunate…
