I spent four days here while in Colombo for work, and things went well from the start. The place is quiet and clean, so it works for a work trip or a holiday. They don’t make food at home, but you can order whatever you want and have it brought right to your door. Buddhika, the owner, was friendly and helpful, and I really appreciated the hospitality. I’d happily recommend staying here when you’re in Colombo.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The room had AC, but there was food waste dumped nearby and a strong smell. There was no toilet paper, the laundry was dirty, and the place was very unclean. My taxi driver used the toilet, and staff claimed it hadn’t been flushed, which wasn’t true, then demanded 500 rupees. I paid. I was there for only five minutes.

For the price, it’s worth it. The place is peaceful and the service is friendly. I’d recommend staying here if you want to relax.

The reception guy was kind and helpful, and that’s the one star I’m giving. The building is big, but in poor shape, and the photos look very old. Our room felt damp, with green coloring on the ceiling and wall, and the toilet smelled funky. I wouldn’t recommend it, except if you have no choice but to stay one night. Its one advantage is being close to the visa extension centre.

The rooms have the basic amenities and there’s parking available. Staff hospitality was commendable. They don’t cook food there, but you can order from anywhere and they’ll bring it to your door. It’s also very cheap, so a good option for anyone.
